Seasons & prize pool
Season 1 opened on October 22, 2026.
Who pays, who wins
- The pool. 85% of all the HYPE spent on ranked runs during the season (Ranked Keys and resurrections) goes into the pool. The other 15% funds the treasury that keeps the game running. The owner can add a bonus on top.
- Points. Your season points are the run points of the ranked runs you extracted during the season, added up across all the Runner cards of your wallet. Story mode earns nothing.
- The split. The pool is shared in proportion to points. No single wallet can take more than a capped share of the pool. Very small amounts below the minimum payout are not paid.
Buying HYPE never earns points: otherwise a rich player could buy back the pool they just filled.
Claiming
At the end of the season:
- The full payout list is published.
- The pool is locked in the SeasonDistributor contract, funded in full before anyone can claim.
- You claim your share there with a proof that your line is in the list, before the claim deadline.
The Claim button on the profile page is coming.
Verifiable
Every ranked run, extracted or not, is published in the RunJournal contract with its points and the HYPE it consumed. That journal is enough to recount a whole season: the pool and the points. See On-chain.
